This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you visit deepstrategy.ai, subscribe to our newsletters (BoardroomRadar, ScenarioWatch, The Paranoidist), or use any other services we offer. This includes current and future products, platforms, programs, or services operated under the DeepStrategy.ai brand or its affiliated services, such as ScenarioPlan.com and Human Masterminds (whether operated as subsidiaries, divisions, programs, or under other organizational structures).

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit deepstrategy.ai, our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically collects standard server log information, which may include:

Our newsletters are distributed through Beehiiv. When you subscribe to a DeepStrategy.ai newsletter, Beehiiv may collect additional data including email open rates, link clicks, and engagement metrics. We use the information we collect to:

User-Submitted Data is processed solely to deliver the services you have requested. This processing may involve transmission to AI service providers (currently Anthropic's Claude) for analysis and scenario generation. We select AI partners that maintain appropriate data security and handling standards.

Confidentiality

We treat all User-Submitted Data as confidential. We will not share your business data with other clients, use it in our published content, or disclose it to third parties except as necessary to deliver the service or as required by law.

Aggregated Insights

We may use aggregated, anonymized insights derived from platform usage to improve our methodologies, refine our analytical frameworks, and develop benchmark datasets. No individually identifiable business data will be included in such aggregated datasets. If we intend to use aggregated data in published materials (such as trend analyses or methodology validation), we will ensure that no individual client, company, or engagement can be identified.

Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you submit to our platforms. Platform outputs generated for you (scenario analyses, reports, briefings) are delivered to you as part of the service engagement. DeepStrategy.ai retains intellectual property rights in its methodologies, frameworks, and analytical approaches, but not in your underlying business data.

7. Cookies and Tracking

The DeepStrategy.ai website is a static site and does not currently set first-party cookies. However, third-party services (Netlify, Beehiiv) may use cookies or similar technologies in connection with their services.

If we add analytics or other features that use cookies in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by law (including for users in the EU/EEA and UK), obtain your consent before setting non-essential cookies.

8. Data Retention

  • Newsletter subscriptions: We retain your email address for as long as you maintain an active subscription. If you unsubscribe, your email will be removed from our active mailing lists. Beehiiv may retain certain data in accordance with their own retention policies.
  • Server logs: Retained by Netlify according to their data retention policies.
  • Correspondence: Retained for as long as necessary to address your inquiry and for reasonable record-keeping purposes.
  • Platform/scenario planning data: User-Submitted Data will be retained for the duration of the service engagement plus a reasonable period for follow-up and record-keeping. Specific retention terms may be detailed in supplemental agreements. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Your Rights below).
  • Payment data: Processed and stored by our payment processor in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. We do not store full payment card details.

9. International Data Transfers

DeepStrategy.ai is operated from the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

For Users in the EU/EEA and UK

When we transfer personal data from the EU/EEA or UK to the United States or other countries, we rely on appropriate safeguards to ensure your data is protected, which may include:

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. Our services are designed for business professionals and are not directed at individuals under the age of 18 (or the applicable age of majority in your jurisdiction).
